UMJC youth board announces scholarship winners PDF Print E-mail

This year, the UMJC youth board awarded two scholarships to attend the summer international conference in Ellicott City, Maryland. Our winners are Aaron Budoff from Congregation B’nai Maccabim in Highland Park, Illinois and Stella Geller from Devar Emet in Skokie, Illinois. Both Stella and Aaron are eager to become advocates for the Jewish people, the Jewish state, and for the Jewish Messiah.

Aaron is a youth leader in his congregation and helps lead services and Shabbat School. He has not attended a UMJC conference since 2007 when it was held in Chicago. He is excited to be able to participate in a conference. According to Aaron, “Being an advocate means taking steps to help the Jewish people and Israel. It also means being a voice for Yeshua.”

This upcoming conference will be Stella’s first UMJC conference. She is looking for opportunities to grow spiritually and to learn on how to become a strong representative of the Messianic Jewish community. Her goal is for the conference to give her encouragement and a push for spiritual faith as well as broadening her Messianic community.

Congratulations to Aaron and Stella, the winners of the UMJC Youth Scholarship, and thank you to UMJC supporters for helping make it possible.
